How to measure

  1. Take the old basket out of the skimmer.
  2. Measure the old basket’s top rim, outside edge to outside edge.
    A tape measure at the edge of a stainless steel skimmer basket’s rim.
  3. Measure the same rim, inside edge to inside edge.
    A tape measure laid across the top rim of a stainless steel skimmer basket.
  4. Measure its height, from the bottom to the top of the rim, not counting the handle.

Then compare your numbers with the sizes below.

The Hayward 1080 skimmer’s own basket has two notches cut out of the rim, on opposite sides, and so does DuraBasket Notched. DuraBasket Smooth, for the Baker Hydro skimmer, is the same size without the notches.
